Obidient Movement Appeals to Jonathan to Support Peter Obi for 2023 Election, Calls for Electoral Reforms

The Obidient Movement has urged former President Goodluck Jonathan to support Peter Obi for the 2023 presidential election instead of contesting in 2027. Peter Obi emphasized the need for comprehensive electoral reforms in Nigeria.

The appeal to Jonathan came after a meeting between him and Obi, where they discussed the state of the nation. The National Coordinator of the Obidient Movement, Yunusa Tanko, stated that Obi is the preferred choice of millions of Nigerians for a new direction.

Tanko described Jonathan as a respected statesman and urged him to step aside for the interest of fairness and national progress.
