Deputy Speaker Urges Abia Governor to Join APC for 2027 Elections

Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Benjamin Kalu, called on Abia State Governor Alex Otti to stop sitting on the fence and join the All Progressives Congress (APC) to support the President. Kalu made this statement during a town hall meeting in Abia State, stressing the importance of unity within the party.

He also mentioned that APC National Leader, Bola Tinubu, will not support non-APC members. Kalu urged party members not to declare their intent to contest the 2027 Abia State governorship election without consulting the party leadership.

Additionally, he accused some individuals of insulting him and misinterpreting his political ambitions.
