Kachikwu Declares ADC Free from Hijackers After Court Ruling

Ibe Kachikwu, a former presidential candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), addressed the media in Abuja on Wednesday, asserting that those who attempted to hijack the party have been shown the way out. His comments followed a judgment from the Federal High Court in Abuja that nullified a congress led by David Mark, which Kachikwu described as a "kangaroo" congress.

He reiterated the party's commitment to integrity and stressed that the ADC is not for sale. Kachikwu warned against individuals with selfish interests trying to take control of the party.

Additionally, Nwosu, the founder and pioneer chairman of the ADC, disclosed in an interview that the party is undergoing internal reforms, including amendments to its constitution to introduce stricter eligibility rules aimed at preventing opportunistic entrants into the party.
