Galadima Alleges Tinubu Unprepared for 2027 Elections, INEC Credibility at Risk

Buba Galadima, a chieftain of the New Peoples Party (NNPP), alleged that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is not prepared for credible elections in 2027. Galadima revealed this during an interview on Arise TV's Prime Time program.

He accused Tinubu's administration of not being ready to conduct free and fair elections and raised concerns about the appointment of a retired Court of Appeal judge with a questionable character as the chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). Galadima warned that such actions could threaten the credibility of Nigeria's electoral system.

Additionally, Governor Mohammed Bago of Niger State expressed support for President Tinubu in the upcoming election.
