Tinubu Leads APC's Campaign Rally in Kaduna for 2027 Election

On October 24, 2026, President Bola Tinubu will lead All Progressives Congress (APC) leaders to Kaduna for the party's inaugural presidential campaign rally in preparation for the January 16, 2027, election. He will be accompanied by Vice-President Kashim Shettima, Director-General of the APC Presidential Campaign Council Abdul’aziz Yari, and National Chairman Nentawe Yilwatda.

This rally marks the official commencement of Tinubu's re-election campaign and is anticipated to attract APC governors, members of the National Working Committee, National Executive Committee, and National Caucus, along with leaders of the National Assembly and former governors. The event is significant as it is the APC's first major campaign since electioneering began on August 19.

Kaduna is considered a strategic location, having previously voted for Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party in the 2023 election. The APC's campaign will cover all 36 states, starting in Kaduna and culminating in a mega rally in Lagos on January 9, 2027.
