The All Progressives Congress (APC) has refuted claims of Bola Tinubu intending to replace Kashim Shettima as Vice President ahead of the 2027 elections. Felix Morka, the APC National Publicity Secretary, dismissed the reports during an interview on Arise TV.

Morka clarified that the party did not release such information and emphasized that engaging in political activities is prohibited within the party. The speculation arose regarding Tinubu potentially replacing Shettima as his running mate for the 2027 APC primaries.
