Matawalle Backs Tinubu/Shettima for 2027 Election

Bello Matawalle, the Minister of State for Defence, expressed strong support for the re-nomination of Vice President Kashim Shettima as Bola Ahmed Tinubu's running mate for the 2027 presidential election. He announced plans to formally unveil a nationwide political platform called "Tinubu Again Movement," aimed at mobilizing support for the re-election of the Tinubu/Shettima ticket across Nigeria's geopolitical zones. Matawalle emphasized that this movement would promote the achievements of the current administration and reinforce collective resolve for security and electoral success.

He congratulated Shettima on his re-nomination and expressed confidence that the Tinubu/Shettima ticket would once again earn the mandate of Nigerians in the upcoming elections.
