Igbokwe: No Rival Can Unseat Tinubu in 2027 Elections

Joe Igbokwe, a prominent chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has publicly stated that the notion of unseating President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the upcoming 2027 presidential elections exists only in the imagination of opposition parties. In a Facebook post, Igbokwe claimed that there are no serious rivals or strategic magic that could lead to Tinubu's defeat.

He emphasized that the opposition, particularly Peter Obi, should recognize that their efforts to unseat Tinubu are futile. Igbokwe highlighted Tinubu's extensive political journey, noting that it took him 20 years to prepare for the presidency and that he waited for the right moment to enter the race in 2023.

He dismissed any ideas that the opposition could rework the political landscape to their advantage, asserting that they would not succeed in their attempts to challenge Tinubu's presidency.
