Wike's Group Urges Rivers Support for Tinubu's Bid

On Wednesday, Nyesom Wike's group appealed to the people of Rivers State to support Bola Ahmed Tinubu's second term bid for the presidency. This appeal comes amidst opposition from members of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), particularly against candidates like Peter Obi and Atiku Abubakar.

Professor John Ogolo, a member of the group, addressed journalists in Port Harcourt, emphasizing the importance of Tinubu delivering on promises made to the Nigerian people, particularly regarding fuel issues and transport fares. The group expressed confidence that Tinubu's administration would provide good democratic dividends to Nigerians.

They also called on Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara to fully commit to the newfound peace brokered by Wike, urging the public to vote in favor of Tinubu to ensure continued progress and stability in the region.
