Borno State University Graduates 2,294 Students with 26 First-Class Honors

Borno State University celebrated the graduation of 2,294 students, including 26 first-class graduates across different academic sessions. The convocation ceremony, scheduled for January 3, 2026, will honor academic excellence and transformative service.

A pre-convocation lecture on "Insecure Environment in the Fragile Lake Chad Basin Area" by Professor Michael O. Faborode is planned.

The event will also witness the investiture of a new chancellor, Professor Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi. Governor Babagana Umara Zulum approved the appointment in line with academic traditions.
