Edo Assembly Considers Forgiving Lawmaker Natasha Osawaru for Conduct with 2Baba

The Edo State House of Assembly may forgive Natasha Osawaru, a lawmaker and wife of music star 2Baba, if she displays genuine remorse for her recent behavior. Osawaru was summoned to the Assembly following a viral video showing her involvement in a public altercation that spilled onto Instagram Live.

The Assembly directed Osawaru to appear before the Ethics and Privileges Committee to defend herself against allegations of misconduct. Lawmaker Okaka Eric emphasized that forgiveness depends on Osawaru's attitude and willingness to show remorse.

The committee, chaired by Eugen Inegbeboh, confirmed conducting a fact-finding mission.
