2Baba Appointed National Fire Safety Ambassador by Nigerian Government

The Federal Government of Nigeria has named music icon 2Baba (Innocent Idibia) as the National Fire Safety Ambassador to spearhead a nationwide fire prevention campaign. The announcement was made during the 2025 National Fire Safety Week at the Federal Fire Service headquarters. 2Baba was chosen for his ability to positively influence public behavior towards fire safety.

The campaign will include various activities such as virtual town hall meetings, life insurance schemes, sensitization outreach, roadshows, and practical fire safety demonstrations. Samuel Adeyemi, the head of the Federal Fire Service, emphasized the importance of public participation and commitment to fire safety.
