Gunmen Attack in Nasarawa State Leaves 3 Dead, 9 Injured

In Nasarawa State, three individuals were killed and nine others injured in a recent attack by gunmen in Kunza Community, Ashigy Village, Lafia Local Government Area. The violence is believed to be linked to unresolved conflicts between herdsmen and host communities, with previous incidents leading to retaliatory attacks.

The President of the Migili Youth Association, Sheh Oli Christoph, condemned the barbaric act and called for justice for the victims. The Nasarawa State Chairman of Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria (MACBAN), Bala Dabo, denied allegations of Fulani herdsmen's involvement in the attack, attributing it to armed robbers.

The State Police Commissioner, Shetima Jauro Moham, has ordered a thorough investigation to bring the perpetrators to justice.
