Three Killed in Herders vs. Community Clash in Jigawa State

In Jigawa State, a violent clash between herders and residents of Dagiteri village in Birniwa Local Government Area resulted in three deaths and several injuries. The incident occurred when suspected herders attacked the community, leading to a chase and subsequent retaliation.

Seven people were arrested in connection with the clash, and investigations are ongoing to determine the root cause. Sani Maihula, a resident of Dagateri, narrated that the conflict began with livestock theft, escalating into a deadly confrontation with dangerous weapons.
