UNILORIN Graduates 316 First-Class Students in 40th Convocation Ceremony

The University of Ilorin (UNILORIN) celebrated its 40th convocation ceremony, awarding 316 first-class degrees out of 11,886 graduating students. The Vice-Chancellor, Prof.

Wahab Egbewole, highlighted the institution's achievements, including attracting grants totaling N2.5 billion in 2025. Notable figures like Dr.

Maruf Tunji Alausa and Dr. Ismail Odetokun were honored during the event.

UNILORIN also announced the commissioning of seven new projects by visitor Bola Tinubu, focusing on infrastructure development and innovation hubs. The university continues to excel in academia and research, positioning itself as a leading educational institution in Nigeria.
