Nigeria Police Train 325 Personnel in Handling Explosive Ordnance Disposal

The Nigeria Police Force has successfully trained 325 personnel in Explosive Ordnance Disposal, chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear threats. The four-week intensive course, held in Nasarawa State, aimed to boost the police's ability to combat insecurity and terrorism.

The training covered detection, identification, decontamination procedures, and modern anti-terror techniques. Participants were urged to apply their knowledge to ensure public safety.

Key officials like Hauwa Ibrahim and Kayode Egbetokun emphasized the importance of such training in strengthening the force's operational efficiency. Sundai Peter and Alhassan Abdulazeez commended the Inspector General of Police for prioritizing regular capacity-building training.
