38 Abducted Kwara Church Worshippers Rescued by Security Forces

In a security-related incident, 38 worshippers who were abducted from Christ Apostol Church in Eruku, Kwara State, have been freed by armed bandits. Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq announced the release, praising the security forces and intelligence agencies for their efforts.

The attack resulted in three deaths, with the initial ransom demand of 3 billion Naira being reduced to 760 million Naira. The incident led to protests and disruptions in the area, prompting heightened security measures by the government.
