$450m Steel Company to Begin Operations in Ogun State by 2026

Stellar Steel Company Limited, a subsidiary of Galaxy Group and RSIN Group based in China, plans to start operations in Ogun State by mid-2026. The company will focus on producing hot roll coil steel, iron, steel door, and gas cylinders, with the goal of significantly reducing Nigeria's reliance on imported steel.

Governor Dapo Abiodun welcomed the investment during a visit, highlighting the state's commitment to fostering an investor-friendly environment. The $450 million project is expected to create jobs and contribute to the state's industrial growth.
