Dangote Raises Petrol Price to N1,332 Per Liter Again

On March 21, 2026, Dangote Petroleum Refinery announced a new petrol price of N1,332 per liter, marking the fifth price increase in March alone. The previous prices were N1,245 and N1,275 per liter, reflecting a cumulative rise of approximately 64.7% since the start of the month.

The refinery's ex-depot price was raised to N1,275 per liter, with coastal prices also increasing to N1,512 and N1,646 per metric ton. This adjustment is attributed to ongoing volatility in global crude oil prices and supply chain disruptions.

The company has communicated to dealers that the new price template will serve as the benchmark across the country, effective from midnight on March 21, 2026. The price adjustments underscore the intense pressure facing Nigeria's fuel market, as the refinery continues to adapt to rapid changes in pricing dynamics.
