Soludo Mourns Arise TV Anchor Killed in Robbery, Calls for Justice in Abuja Tragedy

Governor Chukwuma Soludo of Anambra State mourned the death of Somtochukwu Christelle Maduagwu, an anchor and producer at Arise Television, who was killed during a robbery in Abuja. Soludo described Maduagwu as a shining star whose light was prematurely extinguished, noting her contributions to journalism.

The 29-year-old was praised for her professional excellence and vibrant voice that connected with audiences across Nigeria. Soludo extended condolences to Maduagwu's family, describing her death as a loss to Anambra State, the journalism profession, and the nation.
