Abdulrahman Assumes PDP Acting Chairman Role Amid Factional Clash

Abdulrahman has taken over as the Acting Chairman of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) following factional clashes within the party. He aims to reconcile aggrieved members, restore unity, and prepare for the 2027 general elections.

The former Vice Chairman of the North Central region unveiled his leadership agenda titled "New Dawn" in Abuja. Abdulrahman's immediate priorities include repositioning the party, restoring internal democracy, and organizing an inclusive national convention.

He emphasized the need for unity and rebuilding the PDP with the support of key stakeholders.
