AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq Donates N10M to Flood Victims

Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has donated N10 million to the residents of Pututa community in Lafiagi, Edu Local Government Area, in response to flooding that submerged parts of the community. This intervention followed heavy rainfall on Tuesday, which caused significant damage to homes and infrastructure in Pututa.

The donation was announced on the state government's official Facebook page on Wednesday, emphasizing it as part of the immediate response to the disaster. The post described the donation as support for residents affected by the natural disaster.

Accompanying the announcement were visuals showing floodwaters covering parts of the community, with several buildings submerged. Additionally, AbdulRazaq visited the affected areas and was received at the palace of the Emir of Lafiagi, Alhaji Muhammad Kudu Kawu.

The extent of property damage and losses from the flooding has yet to be officially reported.
