AbdulRazaq and Mustapha Meet in Saudi Arabia for 2027 Talks

Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq met with prominent politician and Wakilin Ilorin Emirate, Hon. Mashood Mustapha, in Saudi Arabia as part of ongoing political consultations ahead of the 2027 general elections. Team MM, the support group for Mustapha, confirmed the meeting and dismissed rumors suggesting it was a political bargain.

They stated that such interactions among political figures are normal in the democratic process and should not be misconstrued as evidence of a political deal. Team MM highlighted Mustapha's significant influence in Kwara's political landscape and noted that he had previously met with other political stakeholders in Abuja before traveling to Saudi Arabia.

The group emphasized that Mustapha has not yet made any official declarations regarding the political realignments and will consult his supporters before making any major decisions. They urged the public to remain calm and assured that updates would be provided when significant decisions are made.
