Abia Council Chairmen Warn Against Illegal Collection of Voters' Data

Chairmen Chinedu Enwereuzo of Umuahia South and Chinedu Ekek of Isuikwuato local government areas in Abia State have alerted residents about the unauthorized collection of voters' data. Enwereuzo warned against disclosing permanent voter's cards, national identification numbers, bank verification numbers, and bank account details to unauthorized persons, as this could lead to fraud, identity theft, and criminal activities.

Similarly, Ekek received reports of individuals allegedly soliciting sensitive personal information from residents under the guise of political party registration exercises. Meanwhile, Benjamin Kalu, the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives and a member of the APC, emphasized the need for caution in sharing personal details during the ongoing registration process.
