Abu Dhabi to Host AI Summit Showcasing Government Innovations

The AI Everything Abu Dhabi summit is scheduled for October 6-7 at the ADNEC Centre, attracting asset managers, investors, and AI companies from over 60 countries. The event aims to leverage Abu Dhabi's investment in AI infrastructure for economic growth.

Wesam Lootah, Director General of GovDigital at the Department of Government Enablement, stated that Abu Dhabi plans to become the world's first AI-native government by 2027, with over 100 AI use cases already in operation across public services. The summit will feature more than 180 speakers, including Arthur Mensch of Mistral AI and Marc Raibert of Boston Dynamics, discussing topics like sovereign AI and industrial applications.

The UAE government is participating with over 50 entities, supported by a $3.54 billion investment program. Solutions+, a Mubadala company, emphasizes operationalizing AI deployment, while G42 promotes an "Intelligence Grid" for AI integration.
