Abu Dhabi Introduces 10-Year Golden Visa for Foreigners

Abu Dhabi has officially outlined the eligibility criteria for its 10-year Golden Visa, which aims to attract and retain foreign talent. The emirate published the full criteria on its official government website.

The Golden Visa is designed to provide a stable base for holders to build their lives in Abu Dhabi. Notably, there are no age or nationality restrictions for applicants, allowing individuals from various backgrounds to apply.

Once approved, foreigners receive a six-month entry permit, during which they must convert it into a full residency permit. This period allows them to explore opportunities and settle in the emirate.

The benefits of the Golden Visa extend beyond the individual, as holders can include their spouse and children, regardless of age, and can sponsor domestic support staff without the usual restrictions on the number of employees.
