Abuja International Film Festival Celebrates 22 Years with Global Showcase

The Abuja International Film Festival is celebrating its 22nd edition with a diverse lineup of 70 films from 80 countries, including top nominees like Ajaga Kakanda Safari and Nigerian actors Lateef Adedimeji and Daniel Etim Effiong. The festival will also recognize outstanding actresses such as Osa Ighodalor and Amina Shehu Uch Montana.

Special recognition awards will be presented to distinguished individuals, including Governor Babajide Sanwoolu of Lagos. Despite challenges, the festival continues to promote cultural exchange and support Nigeria's film industry.
