Corruption Scandal: Ex-Naval Chief Scammed in Abuja Land Dispute

In a corruption scandal, Vice Admiral Gambo, a former Naval Chief, was reportedly scammed in an Abuja land dispute. Wike's aide, Lere Olayinka, disclosed that the land allocated for a park in Gaduwa, Abuja, was fraudulently sold by a real estate company.

Despite the land being designated for recreational purposes, it was converted for commercial use without proper approvals. The Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) declined the conversion request, as the land had already been sold to multiple individuals.

Vice Admiral Gambo does not possess legal ownership documents for the land in question.
