Access Bank, UNICEF, and Fifth Chukker Enhance Education

Access Bank, UNICEF, and Fifth Chukker Polo have formed a partnership to improve education and community development in Kaduna State, with a commitment extending to 2026. The collaboration was highlighted during the Access Bank UNICEF Charity Shield Polo Tournament held from May 30 to June 7 at Fifth Chukker Resort.

The partnership aims to raise funds for educational projects in underserved communities. A significant achievement includes the construction of a 120-classroom block at the Access Bank Fifth Chukker School Complex in Maraban Jo, which has improved access to quality education for thousands of children.

The Chairman of Access Bank PLC, Ifeyinwa Osim, reaffirmed the bank's commitment to creating opportunities for disadvantaged children. The Managing Director and CEO, Roosevelt Ogbonna, emphasized the initiative's alignment with the bank's vision to expand educational access.

The Deputy Governor of Kaduna State, Dr. Hadiza Sabuwa Balarab, commended the partnership for its positive impact on child welfare and community development.
