Adamawa State Government Encourages NYSC Members

The Adamawa State Government has encouraged the 1,428 members of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) assigned to the state to utilize their service year to develop entrepreneurial skills. During the opening of the Batch ‘C’ Stream 1 orientation course, Deputy Governor Professor Kaletapwa Fatauta, representing Governor Ahmadu Fintiri, noted that many former corps members have successfully transitioned into entrepreneurs and employers of labor.
She highlighted the significance of their one-year service, stating that the impact they can make during this time could last for generations. Fatauta urged the corps members to take their Primary Place of Assignment and Community Development Service projects seriously, promoting values of patriotism, commitment, and service to humanity.
Additionally, the Adamawa State NYSC Coordinator, Osoroh Caroline Chinedu, recognized the government's ongoing support for the NYSC scheme, particularly regarding the safety and well-being of the corps members. The oath of allegiance was administered to the corps members by the Adamawa State Chief Judge, Justice Hafsat Abdulrahman.
