Akor Adam Dismisses Sevilla Exit Rumors Amid Focus

Akor Adam, a 26-year-old striker for Sevilla, has responded to rumors linking him with a summer move away from the club, insisting he is focused on helping Sevilla avoid relegation in La Liga. Adam joined Sevilla from Montpellier in January 2025 but faced challenges due to injuries that hampered his first six months.

He has since recovered and scored against Barcelona, earning his debut with the Super Eagles of Nigeria during their bronze medal finish at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations. However, his position at Sevilla has become uncertain following the appointment of new coach Lui Garcia, who reportedly prefers other attacking options.

Adam has brushed aside transfer speculation, stating he is concentrating on finishing the season strongly and aims to score in double digits. Sevilla currently sits 17th in La Liga, just above the relegation zone, with four games remaining.

Additionally, teammate Chidera Ejuke is attracting interest from clubs in Saudi Arabia and Qatar as Sevilla considers selling players to comply with financial regulations.
