Adams Unhappy with Scoring Form Despite Sevilla Draw

Nigerian forward Adams has voiced his unhappiness with his scoring form, despite having ended a five-match league drought during Sevilla FC's 1-1 draw against Rayo Vallecano in La Liga. Adams opened the scoring in the 13th minute with a precise finish from a cross delivered by César Azpilicueta.

This goal marked his seventh of the season, along with three assists in 22 league appearances. However, Adams believes that scoring goals is secondary to winning matches, stating that every point is crucial at this stage of the season.

He accepted responsibility for missing opportunities during the game and emphasized the need for improvement. Adams previously showcased his scoring ability in the Africa Cup of Nations earlier in the year, where he scored three goals and provided one assist in 13 matches.

His performance against Rayo Vallecano was noted as a resurgence, strengthening his role in Sevilla's attack as they aim for a strong finish in the La Liga season.
