ADC Launches Grassroots Tour in Imo State

The Imo State Chapter of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) has launched a grassroots sensitization and chapter inauguration tour across 12 council areas in Orlu zone, with Nkwerre and Nwangele Local Government Areas (LGAs) being the first to inaugurate new officers. On Thursday, State Chairman Prof James Okoroma inaugurated the new executives at the LGA offices, urging them to build functional structures, mobilize new members, and effectively communicate ADC policies.

He praised the commitment and loyalty of party members in these areas and stressed the importance of grassroots leadership. Okoroma called for regular contact with members and adherence to the party constitution.

The tour aims to strengthen grassroots structures, improve communication, and prepare the ADC for future elections. The inauguration was attended by members of the State Executive Committee, zonal leaders, local government chairmen, and other stakeholders, emphasizing collective responsibility and the importance of placing the party's interests above personal ones.
