Aregbesola Urges Ekiti Voters to Use Their Votes

Rauf Adesoji Aregbesola, the former Governor of Osun State, addressed Ekiti voters at a mega rally for the African Democratic Congress (ADC) held at the party's secretariat in Ado Ekiti on Thursday. He urged citizens to participate actively in the upcoming governorship election scheduled for June 20, 2026, stating that Nigeria has entered a challenging phase and that votes are crucial for change.

Aregbesola expressed confidence that the ADC would emerge victorious in the elections, highlighting the economic hardships faced by Nigerians and the need for citizens to take responsibility for the country's future. He called on women, youth, and eligible voters to not remain passive but to express their civic duty by voting.

The rally also featured ADC governorship candidate Dare Bejid, who assured residents of fulfilling campaign promises if elected. The event was attended by notable figures including ADC National Chairman Ralph Nwosu and former Edo State Governor Oserheimen Osunbor.
