Hayatu-Deen Advocates United Opposition for 2027 Elections

Hayatu-Deen, a presidential aspirant from the African Democratic Congress (ADC), called for a united opposition front in Nigeria as the country approaches the 2027 general elections. Speaking on Saturday at the National Opposition Summit held in Ibadan, he highlighted the urgent need for coordinated efforts beyond the capabilities of individual parties.

He warned that continued fragmentation within the opposition would entrench the status quo and exacerbate the hardships faced by Nigerians. Hayatu-Deen urged political leaders to move beyond mere rhetoric and demonstrate a commitment to collaboration, sharing a common purpose to address the nation's challenges.

He engaged with the Governor of Oyo State and emphasized that the 2027 elections present an opportunity to reset Nigeria's trajectory. He reaffirmed the ADC's commitment to working with stakeholders to build a coalition focused on security, economic stability, and restoring public trust in democratic institutions.
