ADC Slams El-Rufai Over Alleged SDP Merger in Kaduna “To Set the Record Straight”

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Kaduna State has refuted claims of a merger with the Social Democratic Party (SDP), calling the reports false and baseless. The ADC stated that the alleged merger was an attempt to mislead the public and that their structure remains intact under the leadership of Nasir Mallam Bashir Saidu and Hon Ja'afar Mohammed Sani.

The statement was made by the ADC Kaduna State publicity secretary, Musa Idris, in response to the reports of the merger. The former Governor of Kaduna, who recently visited Sokoto to canvas support for the ADC, has faced mixed reactions, with some questioning his decision to leave the SDP.

The ADC emphasized that the reports of the merger are unfounded and aimed at deceiving the public.
