ADC Celebrates INEC Recognition of Senator David Mark's Leadership Amidst Party Disruptions

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) is still seeking respite following recent disruptions in Kaduna and Lagos states. The party celebrated the recognition of Senator David Mark's leadership by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

This recognition marked a significant milestone for the ADC ahead of the 2027 general election. INEC affirmed Senator David Mark as the National Chairman of the party, rejecting the adoption of a faction led by Hon Nafiu Bala Gombe.

The ADC had faced leadership crises similar to other political parties but has now made progress towards solidifying its structure for the upcoming elections.
