ADC Vows to Seize Power in 2027 Elections, Aregbesola Declares Ambition

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) National Secretary, Rauf Aregbesola, has declared the party's intention to take over the presidency from President Bola Tinubu and the Lagos State government house in the 2027 elections. Aregbesola made this pledge during an event in Lagos marking the 25th anniversary of the Conscience Forum.

He emphasized the party's determination to produce the next president of Nigeria and lead the change for a better country. The event also saw the consolidation of new members into the ADC, with a focus on capturing power in Abuja and Lagos in the upcoming elections.
