ADC Leader Advocates Against Political Persecution in Nigeria

Naomi Lasara Abel, the woman leader of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), visited former Attorney General Abubakar Malami to discuss the issue of political persecution in Nigeria. During her visit, she expressed her concerns about the political climate, stating that the ADC and the People's Democratic Party (PDP) are unfairly labeled as sinners in the political landscape.

Abel emphasized that Nigerian women and youth demand the right to participate in politics freely and without intimidation. She warned that continued political suppression could drive young Nigerians to leave the country in search of better opportunities.

Abel called for unity across political divides to rebuild the nation and reiterated her vision of making Nigeria great again through free, fair, and credible elections. She also referenced Malami's previous legal troubles, including his arrest and charges related to money laundering and terrorism financing, highlighting the need for a credible electoral process as a foundation for national progress.
