FIRS Collects N47.39tn in 2 Years, Exceeding Targets Under Dr. Zacch Adedeji

The Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) led by Dr. Zacch Adedeji recorded impressive revenue collections of N22.59 trillion in 9 months and N47.39 trillion in 2 years, surpassing targets.

The agency's success was attributed to a 115% revenue growth, with non-oil revenue accounting for 76% of total collections. Adedeji emphasized the importance of tax reforms, digitalization, and training to meet government revenue targets.
