Adekunle Gold Makes History Selling Out Wole Soyinka Centre in Lagos

Nigerian musician Adekunle Gold has made history by becoming the first artist to sell out the Wole Soyinka Centre for Culture and Creative Arts, formerly known as the National Theatre in Lagos. Adekunle sold out the 3,560-capacity venue from December 26, 2025, to January 1, 2026.

He received plaques for this milestone and performed alongside Olamide, Yinka Ayefele, Adewale Ayuba, and other notable stars. Adekunle Gold expressed gratitude to his fans on Instagram for their support and celebrated the achievement with fellow celebrities like Davido, Brother Shaggi, and Timi Agbaje.
