Aero Maintenance Facility to Service Airlines in West Africa

The Aero Maintenance Facility, under the oversight of Chinedu Ez, Director-General of the Ghana Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA), and Rev. Stephen Wilfr Arthur of Aero Contractors Aircraft Maintenance Organization (AMO), is positioned to effectively service commercial aircraft in West and Central Africa.

The facility, located at Aero's headquarters at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos, boasts high standards to minimize maintenance costs for airlines, potentially leading to reduced flight ticket prices. Aero Contractors, established in 1959 and led by Captain Ado Sanusi, has a rich history in oil and gas shuttle services, scheduled flights, helicopter operations, and fixed-wing aircraft maintenance.

The facility's provision of maintenance services within and beyond West Africa is expected to enhance operational efficiency for airlines in the region.
