CAF Confirms Referees for Nigeria vs Egypt AFCON 2025 Third-Place Playoff

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has officially confirmed the referees for the third-place playoff between Nigeria and Egypt in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations. Jalal Jai will serve as the central referee, assisted by Zakaria Brinsi Akarkad, Mostafa Hassani Khalil, and Peter Waweru Kamaku.

Lahlou Benraham and Haythem Guirat will be the main VAR officials, while Hamza El Fariq and Sinko Zeli have been appointed as the referee assessor and assistant referee for the penultimate game of the AFCON.
