Nigeria's Super Eagles secured a spot in the AFCON 2025 Round of 16, earning $800,000 in prize money. The Confederation of African Football (CAF) announced a total prize pool of $35 million for the tournament, with the winner set to receive $10 million.

The tournament aims to provide financial incentives for teams at every stage, with increasing rewards for quarterfinalists, semifinalists, and the runner-up. The next FIFA World Cup winner will receive $50 million, with Qatar 2022 offering $42 million for the champion.
