Super Eagles Coach Eric Chelle Prepares for Madagascar Clash

Eric Chelle, the head coach of the Super Eagles, stated that managing Nigeria's national football team comes with pressure, and his players must be mentally prepared for their opening Group L qualifier against Madagascar at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo. The match is scheduled for Friday.

Chelle highlighted the significance of starting strong, referencing Nigeria's poor performance in the previous World Cup qualifying campaign. He believes that winning the first game is crucial for building momentum and confidence for subsequent matches.

Chelle expressed confidence in his squad, calling them one of Africa's best teams, and stressed the importance of the players' mindset. He warned against underestimating Madagascar, recalling their previous victory over Nigeria in the 2019 AFCON.
