Afreximbank Launches 2026 Internship Program for African Youth

The African Export-Import Bank (Afreximbank) has introduced its 2026 internship scheme for young Africans, offering a $1,000 monthly stipend. The program aims to provide hands-on experience in trade finance and economic development across the continent.

Interns will undergo structured training for six months at Afreximbank's headquarters in Cairo, Egypt, or its regional offices. The initiative seeks to nurture emerging talent, deepen understanding of African trade finance, and prepare a new generation of professionals to drive the continent's growth.
