GCLBE Hosts Africa Climate Forum in Abuja on October 13-14

The fourth edition of the Africa Climate Forum (ACF) is scheduled for October 13 and 14 at the Shehu Musa Yar’Adua Centre in Abuja. Organized by the Global Centre for Law, Business and Economy (GCLBE), the Forum aims to unite government officials, business leaders, and climate practitioners to discuss Africa's climate transition.
Prof. George Nwangwu, the Convener of the ACF and Director General of GCLBE, emphasized the need for practical partnerships that yield tangible outcomes. The Forum will address critical issues such as the role of private enterprise in climate action, carbon market development, energy access, and food security.
It will also explore community-led climate action and the impact of artificial intelligence and digital technologies on climate planning. The event follows previous climate discussions in Accra and marks a shift towards implementation, focusing on overcoming financial and institutional challenges in achieving climate targets.
