African Marketplace to Attract Global Investors in Dubai

The African Marketplace is organizing its 2026 edition to connect global investors, scheduled to take place from October 10-12, 2026, at the Conrad Hotel in Dubai. This three-day event follows the success of its debut in 2025 and aims to bring together products, creativity, and innovation from Africa and the Caribbean for global buyers, investors, policymakers, distributors, and cultural enthusiasts.

The platform is described as a pan-continental trade and cultural initiative that seeks to spotlight export-ready brands and small to medium-scale enterprises. Founder Ibukun Awosika of the Leadership Academy emphasized the importance of showcasing African and Caribbean heritage alongside innovations in fashion, furniture, art, cuisine, music, technology, and intellectual capital.

The 2026 edition aims to expand the platform's commercial focus and build a foundation for greater scale, inviting the world to experience the richness of African and Caribbean cultures.
