AFRIMA and British High Commission Partner to Boost African Culture Exchange

The African Union-backed Africa Music Awards (AFRIMA) has entered a cultural cooperation agreement with the British High Commission in Nigeria to boost creative exchange and strengthen cultural ties. The 9th AFRIMA Awards will take place in January 2026, with a focus on promoting African music globally.

The partnership aims to deepen cultural diplomacy and provide opportunities for African talent to engage with the world. Adenrel Niyi, AFRIMA's CXO, highlighted the significance of the collaboration in advancing African music on the global stage.
