Agbeyewa Farm Hosts Traditional Ruler Retreat in Ekiti

The 3rd Annual Traditional Ruler Retreat was held at Ikogosi Warm Spring Resort in Ekiti, organized by Agbeyewa Farm to strengthen ties with traditional rulers and enhance agricultural development. Attended by 45 traditional rulers, including Ooni Ife Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, the event aimed to drive grassroots job creation and economic growth through collaboration.

Governor Biodun Oyebanji opened the event, emphasizing the importance of agriculture in transforming Nigeria's economy. Agbeyewa Farm's Managing Director, Seyi Ayeleso, aligned the company's agricultural agenda with the Ekiti state government's goals for food security and agro-processing.

Niyi John Olajide, Chairman of Agbeyewa Farm, praised the unwavering support of traditional rulers and highlighted the retreat's role in advancing large-scale employment in rural communities. The event also addressed challenges faced by farmers, including access to credit and infrastructure, with calls for deeper collaboration among government, traditional institutions, and private investors to unlock Nigeria's economic potential.
